3D Machine Vision Technology

Unlike traditional measuring machines that use a contact-based method to inspect manufactured products, this technology uses a 3D sensor to capture multiple images of the product and compare it to a master CAD model. This contact-less technique allows testing for quality at a much faster rate and with more information than traditional tools and manual inspections. The system targets the off-line measuring and quality inspection, while its modularity allows customization or expansion to meet evolving business needs. All the programming is done offline and sent to the single logic controller that controls the entire robot inspection setup.

Dispensing Systems

Preservation of protein structure is of vital importance during fill and finish. Because of the many conditions that can negatively affect therapeutic protein structure, function, and stability, very special care must be taken at every step, special handling procedures must be in place, Quality control (QC) operators must be trained in handling and visual inspection as per GMP, container integrity, storage conditions (e.g., liquid or frozen), the number of containers etc. must be carefully handled. Procedures for managing nonconforming biologic BDS also should be in place as part of a manufacturer’s quality system oversight.
